I would like to recommend Mike Shively for roofiing jobs. He did my roof at 702 W. Cherry St. and I recommended him to the owner of the Queen Anne restoration at 411 W. Poplar. The owner of the house next to the Queen Anne has now hired Mike as well. He tends to work alone or with one other person. His prices are the best and his workmanship is the best.

I would like to recommend Worthen Construction. Paul and his crew did a fantastic job building an addition, replacing the siding and windows, and other renovations in my parents' home. In addition to his excellent craftsmanship, he is one of the most professional contractors with whom I have ever worked. He completed the job on time and on budget.

I would like to recommend Mike Long of The Lumberjack Council. Mike uses old fashioned techniques such as climbing spurs and long ropes when he trims or fells trees. A doctoral candidate in forestry at SIU, Mike is familiar with all of the native tree and shrub species in the region. He puts together his work crews with SIU graduate students in forestry. Good prices and bonded.

Chuck and Sandy Litecky would like to recommend Charlie's Air Conditioning and Heating, In. 618 985-2502 to the neighborhood.They replaced the furnace and air conditioning in our home. They were very responsive to our concerns about an "old house" and the AC/Heating problems that it may have. They suggested and installed a booster duct fan that has worked very well. The crew was knowledgable, friendly and always cleaned up. They also repair any AC/Heating problems at our rental property.
